Belkin
Belkin approached us to work on an exciting new device that was both new to their company and to the world: the Soundform Elite. In collaboration with the prestigious French audio tech company, Devialet, Belkin created a truly unique bluetooth speaker, winning multiple awards at CES 2020. The Soundform Elite boasts high-fidelity sound quality, innovative vibration cancelling technology, dual-woofer configuration, Google Voice assistance, and fast wireless charging.
Video
The videos illustrating features of the Soundform Elite mirrored the color scheme approach of our photography—light on light; dark on dark. Our approach for each color differs ultimately in the feelings they convey. The dark speaker’s video displays a sporadic, kinetic energy, while the lighter speaker’s video melds its features with various aspects of nature.

With such clean, sexy curvatures of its design, we decided to set each color of the Soundform Elite in its respectively toned background. Light with light; dark with dark. The two-tone of the light version is accentuated by its equally matte-finished backdrop. The boldness of the dark version is grounded over a glossy black backdrop.
Light Side
With a clean white surface and light gray mesh fabric, the light edition is a classically beautiful combination of vintage and modern styling. Its egg-shaped curves and clean aesthetic remind us of a device that could have been spotted in Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Much like the film, the light version’s futuristic stylings and technology are much to be marveled.
Dark Side
Bold and handsome are two words to describe this dark version. Its charcoal matte finish helps bring out its flawlessly rounded curves. The dark gray mesh surrounds the dual-woofers in a beautiful wrap-around, both acting practically and visually appealing. A phone sitting atop the wireless charging surface only extends its attractive silhouette.
On Location
The versatility of the Soundform Elite was important to exhibit—versatility in terms of placement in the living space and in terms of functionality and use. With these various settings being in the kitchen, bedroom, home office and living room, it is clear that the Soundform Elite can easily be used and enjoyed in several ways. At the same time, it serves as a lovely looking conversation piece that easily adapts to the styling of any home.
